The share of companies in Russia that are ready to extend remote work for employees, despite the easing of restrictions, was named. This is stated in the results of a study by the international recruiting company Hays, cited by RIA Novosti.
It is noted that 23 percent of companies that allowed to work from home during the coronavirus pandemic plan to maintain the telework format. “34 percent of companies say frankly that they themselves do not know what will happen next,” says the Hays report.
According to the study, 11 percent of companies transferred employees to shift work, and two percent did not work remotely at all.
It is also noted that 60 percent of employees are sure that with the transition to a remote format, the volume of their work has not changed in any way. At the same time, 16 percent of the respondents say that there is more work, since it is more difficult to carry out all the processes from home, and another 16 percent noted that the workload has increased, since now, in order to achieve a result, you need to work harder. 10 percent of respondents said that the workload increased as some team members had to leave and tasks were reassigned.
The survey was conducted among 545 employers and 4.3 thousand company employees.
Earlier it was reported that now 14 percent of Russians continue to work remotely, the majority (86 percent) work in a regular format. Most telecommuting employees work in the IT field – it was noted by 16 percent of respondents. Another 13 percent of those surveyed indicated that they work remotely in the fields of education and sales. Every tenth remote employee is from marketing, advertising and PR.
