Police in Poland use tear gas during protests

Police in Poland used tear gas during protests by opponents of tightening abortion laws. RIA Novosti reports.

It is noted that the police in Warsaw several times blocked the way of the protesters with cordons, but they were heading in the other direction. After that, law enforcement officers tried to detain a minibus with sound-amplifying equipment. This caused aggression from the protesters, which led to a scuffle, during which tear gas was used.

At the moment, doctors are providing assistance to the victims. The action continues at Roman Dmovsky Square.
