The new Redmi smartphone will go on sale at the end of February. This is reported by the GizChina edition.
The Redmi K40 model, which is called the “flagship killer”, will go on sale on February 25th. Also, sources of the publication have declassified the cost of the device – it will be 2999 yuan, or about 35 thousand rubles. The exact dates of the announcement and appearance of the device on the global market are not disclosed.
According to the published renders of the gadget, Redmi K40 will have a screen with a hole for the front camera. On the back of the smartphone will be the main camera with four lenses. The model will be released in at least two modifications – with a Snapdragon 888 chip and Snapdragon 870.
The message says that the new product will come with a battery with a capacity of 4000 milliampere-hours with support for fast charging. The device will appear on sale in two versions – with a complete charger and without accessories. Thus, Redmi will allow buyers to choose whether they need a power adapter or not. Earlier, the parent company Redmi Xiaomi refused from the charging accessory in the basic set of their smartphones.
At the end of January, it was reported that the Redmi K40 will have a Samsung AMOLED display. The screen of the device is made using the same technology as the display of the flagship Xiaomi Mi 11, that is, it will support a picture display frequency of 120 hertz.
