Trump was nominated for Nobel Prize

Member of the European Parliament from Estonia Jaak Madison nominated former US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. He wrote about this in his Facebook .

Madison explained that Trump became the first president of the United States in the past 30 years who did not start new wars. In addition, the politician signed a number of peace agreements that “helped to ensure stability and peace in the region.” This includes, among other things, agreements to normalize relations between Arab countries and Israel.

“Due to the fact that the nominees for the Nobel Peace Prize can also be nominated by MPs, I took this opportunity. The deadline is midnight on January 31, and I did it exactly two hours before the deadline,” Madison said.

On September 11, it became known that Trump was once again recently nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. One of the authors of this initiative believes that the American president deserves it for the reconciliation of Israel and the United Arab Emirates, another – that he should be rewarded for normalizing relations between Serbia and the partially recognized republic of Kosovo.
