GNOME 40 interface provisioning status

GNOME Developers have posted a report on changes in the interface GNOME Shell awaiting users in GNOME 40. GNOME 40 interface freeze two weeks away, so
the design can be considered more or less mature. To test the new design prepared an image in qcow2 format for running in virtual machines (you can run it from GNOME Boxes), and packages for installation on Fedora 33 have been published.

Notable of significant changes is a new virtual desktop navigation mode that has been added to the Activities Overview window selection system. The most notable difference from the December GNOME Shell layouts was the addition of additional desktop thumbnails at the top of the screen, complementing the general ribbon with detailed window placement information.
