A provincial girl became a copy of Marilyn Monroe and settled in her house

A resident of the Scottish province became famous in social networks thanks to the appearance of Hollywood Marilyn Monroe, got rich and settled in the house of the actress. Her story is quoted by The Sun.

According to 27-year-old Jasmine Chiswell, since childhood, teachers told her that she was nothing – and these words became her motivation for the day “in the struggle for a better life.”

In 2016, the girl moved from Karluk, South Lanarkshire, to the United States to study filmmaking at the New York Academy. After receiving her master’s degree, she decided to start a career in social networks, because she could not officially find a job due to a student visa.

“I have always loved the style of Marilyn and her films, so I started wearing vintage clothes in my everyday life. Many people told me that I am very similar to Marilyn,” the heroine of the material shared.

Thus, Chiswell began to copy the images of her idol and show them on Instagram and TikTok. The similarity with the star made the Scottish woman famous: at the moment, 9.2 million people follow her on TikTok. In addition, the girl has repeatedly starred for Vogue magazine and regularly took part in advertising campaigns on YouTube.

In October 2017, the blogger married music producer Maverick McNeilly. The couple saved up two million pounds (200 million rubles) and bought the house of Marilyn Monroe, where she lived with baseball player Joe DiMaggio.

In November 2020, a UK resident who became famous on social networks due to her external resemblance to actress and model Audrey Hepburn spoke about the difficulties of living with the face of a star. For the sake of complete resemblance to an idol, she uses a lot of makeup, and also wears a slimming corset, since her proportions do not fully match the slim figure of the model.
