Best Proton-PM mentors received their awards

On Tuesday, January 26, 2021, the Proton-PM company (part of the NPO Energomash integrated structure of the Roscosmos State Corporation) awarded the winners of the Best Mentor 2020 corporate competition. The winner was Artyom Titov, a programmed machine tool adjuster, workshop 2. Leading engineer for certification and standardization Elena Kochegina and leading engineer-technologist of shop 78 Lyudmila Mekhonoshina were also among the best mentors of the enterprise at the end of last year.

Artyom Titov graduated from the Perm technical school of industrial and information technologies with a degree in “adjuster of machine tools and manipulators with programmed control”. Has been working at the enterprise since 2013 in the workshop for the production of turbopump units. As a mentor, he trained more than ten operators, most of whom remained to work at Proton-PM.

Viktor Stepanov, Head of Personnel Development Department, Proton-PM: “Mentors help us explain to new employees the specifics of specific jobs and quickly introduce them to the team. This practice also helps to maintain the key production competencies of the enterprise. I am glad that every year we can reward the best, thus giving other employees an additional incentive to share knowledge and skills. “

The annual corporate competition “Best Mentor” has been held for over ten years. The event helps transfer competencies to a new generation of engine builders, enhances the status of this work and encourages the best mentoring practices. The competition committee determines up to five contenders for the victory – specialists who have shown the greatest success in adapting new employees during the year, accompanied them in the workplace, and also introduced them to corporate culture and values. All finalists will receive a salary supplement for the following year, and the winner will additionally receive a lump sum payment.
