A professional cyclist from Belgium was denied a leadership position in the men’s team due to her modeling background. The Daily Mail reports.
Tara Gins, 30, said on social media that she recently received an offer to become the manager of an undisclosed men’s cycling team. The athlete was delighted with the new perspective, however, when sponsors found her candid pictures on the Internet, the offer was withdrawn.
The incident angered Gins, since, in her opinion, these shots in no way can harm the team’s reputation. “I’m not going to work with people who are not able to consider my professionalism and appreciate my experience. Unfortunately, everyone in cycling still thinks very narrowly. What a shame,” the former model commented.
At the same time, Hins’ employers did not indicate which shooting became an obstacle in her career. She suggested that it could be her photo shoot for Playboy magazine or the men’s calendar, where she posed topless.
Tara Jeans is a Belgian cyclist who competed for the Lares-Waowdeals and Health Mate-Cyclelive teams from 2016 to 2018. She is currently participating in the UCI Women’s Continental Team Memorial.
In June, the Australian woman lost her job due to the outbreak of the coronavirus and became rich by selling candid pictures. The girl worked as a DJ and a waitress, but after the introduction of restrictive measures, she had to look for a new source of income. Then she began to take pictures in a bikini and publish shots on the OnlyFans platform, whose users get access to content for a fee.
