Best system solutions and practices will be used for development of QMS at ISRD enterprises

At the end of December 2020 at the Scientific and Production Association “Energomash” named after academician V.P. Glushko (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) held a regular meeting of the Coordination Council on the quality of the integrated structure of rocket engine building. It was attended by specialists from NPO Energomash, Design Bureau of Chemical Automatics, Proton-PM, Scientific Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, as well as those included in the integrated structure of the Voronezh “Turbopump” and the Kaliningrad OKB “Fakel” in 2020.

The meeting of the Board was opened by the Acting Deputy General Director – Director for Quality Denis Fofanov.

“The formation of an integrated structure is almost being completed, in this regard, one of the most important tasks facing the management company NPO Energomash is the regulation and unification of corporate quality management processes. One of them is the process of adopting uniform Policy and Quality Objectives for ISDD “, – said Denis Fofanov.

The Coordination Council considered the reports of the Deputy Directors for the Quality of the ISDB organizations on the results of work on decomposing the Quality Objectives for 2021 – their detailed elaboration, dividing each goal into small interrelated tasks – in accordance with the corporate Regulations, as well as proposals for improving further the work of ISRD organizations in this area. The results achieved were generally assessed positively by the Coordination Council.

Head of the department Andrey Antonov made a report on the results of audits of ISRD organizations conducted in 2020 by the Auditors Department of NPO Energomash:

“An important result of the audits of 2020 was the best system solutions identified in individual organizations by the ISDD, solutions to quality assurance issues, practices of organizations that can have a positive impact on the effectiveness of the QMS. The identified best practices should be used to develop and improve the QMS of all organizations ISRD “.
