A customer bought several pairs of jeans of the same size in the same store and was outraged by their difference. The Sun portal reports about it.
31-year-old Roxanne Stobbs ordered three pairs of size 16 trousers, which by Russian standards equals size 48 (L), on the website of the retailer Boohoo. According to the material, when the woman opened the package she received, she laughed as she thought that someone else’s order had been sent to her.
“The jeans were so different that I thought it was a mistake. Then I looked at the tags and saw that all the pants were size 16. I couldn’t help laughing, it’s just crazy,” the client explained.
According to the heroine of the material, two of the three trousers turned out to be too narrow for her hips. In addition, Stobbs compared one new piece to her old size 10 (EU 42) jeans and found that the latter were wider than a pair of online stores.
“Now I am not worried about my weight, but I think that after trying on these trousers in my youth, I would have gotten depressed,” explained Stobbes and added that she was upset about the negative impact that such a difference in the size grid could have on other customers.
Earlier in December 2020, the girl tried on jeans from famous brands and was surprised by the size difference. Sophie Shakeshaft showed her fit on size 12 (40 EU) items from Topshop, ASOS, Pretty Little Thing and Boohoo. It turned out that some jeans fit her and others were too tight.
