The Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs Boris Titov, who owns the Abrau-Dyurso plant (wine production), invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to work. He said this in his Instagram .
Earlier, the head of state noted that after leaving the presidency, he would go to work as an adviser to Titov, since he likes wine as a field of activity. “I think that there is no entrepreneur in the world who would refuse such an offer. Moreover, I can say that Vladimir Vladimirovich knows the wine industry very well in the field of law,” the business ombudsman said.
Against the background of Putin’s statement, the shares of Abrau-Dyurso rose by more than 10 percent during the trading session and reached 220 rubles per share by 15:30 Moscow time.
Boris Titov has been chairman of the Council of the Union of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Russia for more than nine years. Putin is a lawyer by training. In 1975 he graduated from the Law Faculty of the Leningrad State University named after A.A. Zhdanov (now St. Petersburg State University).
