The current US President Donald Trump will hold his own farewell ceremony on the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden. Reported by The Guardian.
The event will take place at the military airfield in Maryland early Wednesday morning, January 20, a few hours before Biden’s inauguration. According to the publication, Trump wants a military parade and farewell to supporters, associates, and current and former employees of his administration on the red carpet at his last ceremony as president.
In the invitations sent out by the White House, it is reported that the ceremony will take place at 8:00 am. Guests are requested to arrive by 7:15 am and not to bring firearms, ammunition, explosives, laser pointers or toy pistols with them.
Biden’s inauguration is scheduled for January 20. In particular, Vice President Mike Pence is invited to the event. At the same time, Biden called Trump’s decision not to attend the event, which he announced earlier, as good.
