The wife of the current US President Donald Trump Melania called on Americans to be careful when vaccinating against coronavirus. The first lady announced this in a farewell video message posted on her Twitter -account.
Melania described the past four years as First Lady as “the greatest honor of her life.” She wished Americans to be indifferent to what they do, but stressed that violence is never justified.
The outgoing first lady expressed her gratitude to doctors, nurses and everyone who worked on the front lines of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. “Every life is priceless, and now that millions of vaccines are in circulation, I ask all Americans to exercise caution and common sense to protect the vulnerable,” Melania said.
Earlier it became known that Trump will publish his own video message on Tuesday, January 19. According to a source in the presidential administration, in his video message, the politician spoke about several achievements during his tenure, which, according to the head of state, determined his presidential term. Trump also mentioned the new administration, but the context of the statement about the team of President-elect Joe Biden was not specified.
Biden’s inauguration is scheduled for January 20. In particular, Vice President Mike Pence is invited to the event. At the same time, Biden called Trump’s decision not to attend the event, which he announced earlier, as good.
