The majority of Russians (77 percent) said they would inform their family about the prize they received and share the money. There are 17 percent more men willing to do this than women. This is stated in the Superjob survey.
About 11 percent of respondents are ready to talk about the prize, but will not share the money. Another 6 percent prefer not to talk about unplanned income to their wife or husband. A quarter of women (25 percent) said that they would share the news about the prize with their spouses, but only 18 percent of respondents were ready to jointly spend the money received. Another 7 percent will not say any additional earnings at all. The survey also showed that the higher the income, the more willing people are to inform the family about the bonus.
Earlier, about a third of Russians (28 percent) complained that there is no way to receive an award at their current place of work. The majority of respondents (66 percent) still indicated that there is a probability of getting it.
The main reason for awards in Russian business is the achievement and overfulfillment of targets. This reason for bonuses was reported by 61 percent of respondents, followed by overwork (51 percent of respondents), and third place – initiative and new ideas (29 percent).
