Mozilla has implemented support for Linux and macOS at Mozilla VPN . Previously, the service was only available for Windows 10, Android and iOS. The list of countries has not changed and the service, as before, is limited to work in the USA, Great Britain, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia. The service allows you to organize the work of up to 5 user devices via VPN at a price of $ 4.99 per month. Mozilla VPN is still available to users from the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia. The connection to the service is made using the WireGuard protocol.
The service is powered by about 280 servers of the Swedish VPN provider Mullvad located in more than 30 countries. Mullvad has pledged to Mozilla’s privacy guidelines , not to track network requests and do not save any form of user activity in the logs.
The service can be useful when working on untrustworthy networks, for example, when connecting via public wireless access points, or if you want not to show your real IP address, for example, to hide the address from sites and ad networks that select content depending on the visitor’s location.
