The heirs of the Russian billionaire who committed suicide, the main owner of the Sibanthracite company, Dmitry Bosov, fought off a woman who claimed a share in his inheritance and turned out to be an impostor in court, writes RBC.
The Odintsovo city court satisfied the claim of Bosov’s mother, his four children and his third wife against Yana Tolstaya, who claimed that she was the mother of a businessman’s illegitimate son and was acting in his interests.
The motivation part of the court’s decision has not yet been published. Thus, the contenders for Bosov’s inheritance are his mother Lyudmila with four sons on the one hand and his third wife Katerina on the other. The latter took over half of her husband’s share (43.2 percent of 86.5) in the Alltek company, which controls Sibanthracite.
Later, Bosov’s mother and children successfully challenged her actions in court, arguing that Katerina Bosova had no right to claim part of her husband’s assets. She herself claims that Bossov bought the additional issue of Alltek from the common funds of the spouses. The woman appealed against the court decision.
Dmitry Bosov committed suicide in May last year in his own country house. An award pistol was found near the body. Bosov’s fortune at the time of his death was estimated at $ 1.1 billion, which allowed him to occupy 86th place among the richest people in Russia. Its main asset was Sibanthracite, the world leader in the extraction of anthracite.
