“Despite the pandemic and the related economic crisis, Gazprombank’s retail business in 2020 showed excellent results in most key areas,” commented Alexei Popovich, First Vice President, Board Member of Gazprombank. According to him, this became possible thanks to the extensive work on digitalization and the active transfer of the bank’s services to remote service channels, which was done in previous years.

Popovich noted that in 2020 it was possible to significantly increase the client base, as well as launch many previously planned projects, including a new investment application and its own virtual mobile operator.

By December, the number of users of Gazprombank’s Telecard 2.0 mobile application reached 2.5 million, an increase of 1 million over the year.
