Cosmonaut explained “emergency” food source on ISS

Crews on the ISS constantly share food with each other in case of an unforeseen situation. Cosmonaut Gennady Padalka told RIA Novosti about this.

According to him, Russian and American cosmonauts, in case of problems with the supply of food, ask each other for help. “When I was flying, the fifth flight, our truck did not come, we asked them. Then their Dragon truck exploded, ours came there, they asked us,” he said, adding that there was nothing emergency about this situation does not exist.

Earlier it became known that the American side gave 13 food rations to the Russian cosmonauts. After that, the media reported that Russian food remained on the ISS for two weeks.
