Russian employers explained the meaning of the phrase “we will call you back” after interviewing candidates. TASS reports the results of a survey of the job search service Superjob.
Only 23 percent of employers use this phrase as a refusal for a vacancy, up from 31 percent eight years ago. 63 percent of companies said they were really going to call back after the interview.
At the same time, women more often than men perceive this phrase as a refusal. Among the first – such 67 percent, among the second – 64 percent. More often than not, applicants claiming a salary of up to 30 thousand rubles do not believe in the promise to call back. These turned out to be 68 percent of the total number of respondents.
The survey was conducted from 11 to 20 January in all regions of Russia. It was attended by one thousand HR managers and HR representatives, as well as 1.6 thousand people over 18 years old.
