Joe Biden wrote the first post from the @POTUS President’s @POTUS account at Twitter . The official representative of the social network Nick Pachilio confirmed that the departmental accounts of the White House were transferred to the administration of the new president, RIA Novosti reports.
“There is no time to waste when it comes to dealing with the crises we face. That’s why I’m heading to the Oval Office today to get started right away, taking decisive action and providing immediate relief to American families,” Biden wrote.
Also, the name on the account has changed – from President Trump to President Biden – and the photo on the avatar and splash screen. The styling and description have changed for other departmental accounts as well: White House @ WhiteHouse, @VP Vice President, @FLOTUS First Lady, and @PressSec Press Secretary.
