The FBI arrested a New Yorker over calls for “public executions” of Democrats. This is reported by the NBC TV channel.
Brendan Hunt was arrested in Queens during an FBI raid. On social media, the American argued that the election was rigged and that Democrats should be punished for it. Hunt even named specific names from his “hit list”: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Democratic minority leader Chuck Schumer, and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
It is reported that the man did not participate in the storming of the Capitol on January 6. However, two days after the riots, Hunt posted an 88-second video titled “Kill Your Senators” on video hosting. In it, a man urged people to “take up arms” and return to the Capitol when the full Senate meeting was held to shoot them.
Prior to his arrest, Hunt worked in a New York State court and moonlighted by filming a movie.
The storming of the Capitol in the United States took place on January 6 during a rally of supporters of the current head of state who do not recognize the results of the November vote, which resulted in the election of Democrat Joe Biden as president. The rallies led to clashes with the police. Five people died, dozens were detained.
The Democrats accused Trump of inciting insurgency and sent a resolution to Congress to impeach him. At the same time, the head of state considers his speech to supporters on January 6, after which the riots began, completely acceptable.
